This elegant creative Kokeshi was made by Kazuo Takamizawa (高見沢一夫). The piece immediately stands out through its refined silhouette, tall black hairstyle with rounded topknot, and deep green kimono decorated with golden floral motifs.

Her soft, almost closed gaze gives the Kokeshi a serene expression, while the combination of green, gold, black and red makes her both calm and visually striking. The floral motifs are placed rhythmically across the body, creating a beautiful balance between simplicity and detail. The red accents in the collar and kimono add warmth to the overall composition.

The underside bears a hanko / artist's stamp, supporting the attribution to Kazuo Takamizawa (高見沢一夫). A characterful vintage sōsaku Kokeshi with elegant presence and strong graphic colour use.
